The Empress Martini

Recipe by Melissa Nicholson Course: Cocktail

I love a classic gin martini, and Empress 1908 makes the classic even better. It’s such a crisp and bright gin; perfect for cocktails. And who doesn’t enjoy a drink that not only tastes fantastic but looks beautiful? This martini is made with Lillet Blanc, a French apéritif, with notes of orange, mint, and vanilla. It’s sure to impress guests; however, I highly recommend making one for yourself on Saturday night. You’ve earned it.

  • 2 oz 2 Empress 1908 Gin

  • 1/2 oz 1/2 Lillet Blanc

  • Grapefruit Twist

  • Shake gin and Lillet Blanc in a shaker
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass
  • Garnish with the grapefruit twist
